 ANNUAL LIZARD BUTTE EASTER SUNRISE SERVICE Sponsored by the Lizard Butte Sunrise Association, the Annual Lizard Butte Easter Sunrise Service is held on Lizard Butte, just outside of Marsing, on Easter Sunday each year, beginning just as the sun puts in its appearance in the East. Join hundreds of people from dozens of churches across the Treasure Valley of Idaho as we celebrate the resurrection. THE 2019 SUNRISE SERVICE WILL BE HELD ON EASTER SUNDAY MORNING, APRIL 21, AT 6:55 A.M.  The annual service features special music, Scripture reading, congregational singing, and a devotional message designed to help celebrants remember and appreciate the fact that Jesus is alive!  The Boy Scouts assist in the service by posting the colors each year.  "Angels" at the cross remind is that "He is not here! He is risen!"  Outstanding speakers from across the Treasure Valley share the Easter message.  Come stand at the foot of the cross and join us in Easter worship. Dress warmly, and bring lawn chairs or a blanket on which to sit. |
